Wait, what are the dates of this again?
October 1st to November 12th.
Why does it last so long?
Habits aren’t formed overnight. We’re giving ourselves the runway to rewire our neural pathways that let us down by craving sugar, encourage us to stay up too late or whisper seductively that it’s raining outside so we shouldn’t go on a walk and instead should watch the latest Netflix hit.
So, what sort of packaged protein bars can I have?
There are a lot of packaged, whole food nutrition bars out there. Generally, be looking at calorie content to protein and sugar ratio. My gold standard bars are chock full of protein for 200 calories or less with less sugar than protein.
These two are perfectly Best Day Ever compliant - one is perfectly all natural with minimal processing and one meat bar.
If you like "meat bars", my favorite are the Buffalo bars from DNX
This one utilizes 100% whole foods and is completely compliant. My favorite is the chocolate SeaSalt. RX Bar. http://www.rxbar.com/
I lost my Journal/Shopping List/Rules. How can I find those?

Why is there a point for Daily Interaction? I really am confused how talking will help me stay on track? I mean, I like people but …
There’s a point for daily interaction because we are really in this together. There’s a reason that lifestyle habits often fail; it’s because 1) it’s ridiculously hard to change a habit and 2) you’re doing it in a vacuum. It’s still ridiculously hard to change a habit. That hasn’t changed but what has changed is that you now have an army at your back encouraging you, supporting you and, making the hard choices right along side you. It’s a lot easier to resist the chocolate cake or the wine when you KNOW that somewhere across the country, your new friend is saying no to her personal temptation of a salted caramel cupcake. Daily interactions also help to reinforce that what you’re going through is entirely normal, that the carb flu is real and that yes, it will and does get better.
So, what is a Daily Interaction and how do I do it?
Daily Interactions are easy. Either post on the blog post on the private members only blog page or, post a comment on the private Facebook group. Bonus points for posting a photo of your food or of your workout. We can encourage each other through inspiring and pretty pictures.
